From Tablao Flamenco Cordobes we want to say goodbye to the year of our anniversary with a show on par with what has been a wonderful year, full of unique shows that are already a very important part of flamenco history. For this purpose, as could not be otherwise, we present an excellent cast full of young flamenco stars that will create unique nights of the most authentic flamenco.

Jesus Carmona returns to this stage in a high point of his career, after the tremendous success he is having with his latest show “7 balconies”. Meant to be one of the flamenco dance new leaders, after more than four years as principal dancer of the National Ballet, with a prodigious technique and an innate talent for dance, he has already mastered the aesthetics of flamenconess and the duende. Born in Catalonia, soon the prestige he enjoys among professionals arrives from the general audience too, although he’s already listed as a major protagonist in the most important festivals and theaters worldwide. His latest production with his company, “Ímpetu’s” will be released in Spain on December 1st, just before his arrival to Tablao Flamenco Cordobes, although last October 10th was already presented in the US in the New York City Center as the closing for the XIIth Fall for Dance Festival. The dancer continues evolving his dancing towards maturity without straying from the most authentic flamenco, in his words into a “deep and controlled movement”.

Besides him, still dancing with us Karime Amaya, after the premiere with Farruquito at the Palau de la Música of “Los Farruco and Los Amaya” produced by Tablao Flamenco Cordobes. She also starred alongside Farruquito and Pepe Torres at the closing of the celebration acts of the 45th Anniversary of Tablao Flamenco Cordobes with the show “Jerez le canta a Los Farruco y Los Amaya”, supported by great figures of flamenco such as the legendaries Antonio Fernández Fosforito and La Chana, Juan de Dios Ramirez Heredia, former congressman, president of Unión Romaní, writer and journalist, and Emilio Jiménez and Gonzalo Rojo, authors of essential publications to understand flamenco culture.

Cordobes keeps on stage one of the flamenco dance promises that is grabbing more attention in the Catalan flamenco: “El Yiyo”. Star of the show “El Yiyo: Flamenco dream”, he has already performed in the cycle “Catalunya Flamenco Art”, starring with emblems of the Catalan flamenco as Mayte Martín or Duquende. Their performances at Tablao Flamenco Cordobes are already on everyone’s lips. He returns after his consecration with the most important artists of this art in the Suma Flamenca Festival of Madrid, where he got a great success and has become considered one of the most important faces of new flamenco being just 19 years old.

Irene la Sentío is one of the most outstanding young dancers on the international scene, especially highlighting her performances in Italy in Cagliari and in the VI Roma Flamenco Festival, or her participation in the Ibiza Flamenco Festival, as well as collaborating with leading tablaos in Spain, as Casa Patas and Las Carboneras in Madrid, and the Casa de la Memoria in Seville.

Lucia Campillo, usual companion of Jesus Carmona in his shows, is a young dancer on a clear upward trend in the flamenco world, working in the Antonio Canales’ company spectacles or in the main tablaos of Madrid, where she lives.

Accompanying our dancers, Loreto de Diego, a promising young singer who performs for the first time on our stage. Born in Burgos, after working in the most prestigious tablaos of Madrid and Seville and performing as a soloist in various concerts and events nationwide, she produced her own show “Me sabe a cante” presented at the Suma Flamenca Festival in Madrid in 2013. Certainly one of the young talents of flamenco singing that will create a buzz.

Alongside them, our cast of musicians, many of them discovered in our prolific Catalan flamenco youths: Tuto, Juan Manzano “Coco”, Antonio Campos “Bocaillo” and José de la Miguela. Will also contribute with their guitars Antonio Sanchez, nephew of the great Paco de Lucia and frequent companion in his shows, and Antonio Santiago “Ñoño”, who has learnt flamenco from birth as Enrique El Extremeño’s son.
