Tablao Flamenco Cordobes - Flamenco in Barcelona
Founded in 1970 by a family of artists (Luis Adame and Irene Alba), Tablao Flamenco Cordobes was characterized from its beginnings by the great quality of its artists (Camarón de la Isla, Farruco, Tomatito or Bambino are just some of the names that passed through the stage of La Rambla during these early years). Tablao Flamenco Cordobes has become a reference point for flamenco culture in Barcelona. Both artists and amateurs know the level of their tablas and nowadays it is one of the epicentres of flamenco. With the celebration of its 40th anniversary in 2010, the Fundación Tablao Flamenco Cordobés was created with the aim of revaluing the foundations of flamenco culture, something that demonstrates the continuous evolution of an artistic space that is already preparing its 50th anniversary for the year 2020.
