Paula Salazar

Renowned flamenco dancer Paula Salazar, trained by legends in Seville, has dazzled audiences worldwide, winning numerous awards including second place at the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas.

Paula Salazar began her training at an early age in Malaga, where she studied Spanish dance at the conservatory. She arrived in Seville with a scholarship from the Andalusian Center of Dance, learning from figures such as Rocío Coral, Miguel Ángel Corbacho, and Rubén Olmo, who later incorporated her into his company where she participated in the shows “La muerte de un Minotauro” and “La tentación de Poe.”

In 2018, she joined Joaquín Grilo’s Company, touring with the show “La Calle de mis sueños” in the main flamenco festivals both nationally and internationally.

Her art has been recognized on several occasions, such as in the 2018 “Manolo Soler” Flamenco Dance Talent Competition, which awarded her an Acciona Scholarship to study at the Cristina Heeren Foundation, where she had the opportunity to learn from masters such as Javier Barón, Milagros Menjíbar, Luisa Palicio, and Rafael Campallo.

In 2022, she won second place in the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas and was a finalist in the Spanish Dance and Flamenco Choreography Competition of Madrid. In February 2024, she presented her solo show at the prestigious Festival Flamenco de Jerez.
