Jesús Carmona, the internationally renowned artist from Barcelona comes to Tablao Flamenco Cordobes after presenting his new show in different parts of the world. Carmona has performed in recent months in cities such as London, New York, Milan and Mont-Marsan. After his visit to the leading Catalan art space, he will visit other parts of the world such as Dubai and China. Jesús Carmona is an artist with a degree in Spanish Dance and Flamenco from the Instituto del Teatro y la Danza de Barcelona and in 2007 he became the first dancer of the Compañía del Ballet Nacional de España. 

Along with Jesús Carmona will be Paloma Fantova, a dancer born in Cádiz who from an early age has proven her worth in flamenco art (she started dancing at the age of 4 and at the age of 8 won a talent contest on TVE). Paloma Fantova participated in choreographies by Manuela Carrasco in Japan and toured theaters in New York, Washington, Paris, London and Cairo. In 2011 he will participate in Joaquín Cortés’ show “Calé” and in 2012 he will alternate his presence in Tablao Flamenco Cordobes with the presentation of his own show “Sensibilidades”. Fantova is a dancer who has also participated in Tomatito’s shows and with the dancers Karime Amaya and Pastora Galván in the show in memory of the great dancer Carmen Amaya produced by Tablao Flamenco Cordobes.

 The star cast will be closed by Águeda Saavedra and Mara Rey. Agueda Saavedra, a dancer born in Malaga, began her career at the age of seven and entered the Madrid Dance Conservatory at the age of 15. The dancer takes part in the debut of the company Sentimiento Pericet and is part of the cast of “Silencios Rotos”, produced by Entredos Ballet Español. The singer Mara Rey is a very well-known artist who began her flamenco career on international stages, such as the artistic spaces Bellas Artes or Coba Rubia in Mexico. For years she has worked as a dancer and cantaora with flamenco figures such as Los Farruco, Poveda, Duquende and Canales.
