Tablao Flamenco Cordobes celebrates its 50+3 Anniversary by inaugurating an urban mural by the Catalan artist Fert at Rambla, 31. The mural is a tribute to Luis Adame and Irene Alba, the founding artists of Tablao Flamenco Cordobes, which is currently managed by the second generation of the family by Maria Rosa Pérez Casares, Luis and Irene’s daughter.

The inauguration was attended by the first deputy mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni; the members of the Parliament of Catalonia, Francesc Tenn and Rocío García; the historical dancers ‘La Chana’ and ‘Mila De Vargas’; Eva Navas and Silvia Ferrando on behalf of the Institut del Teatre; Lluís Cabrera on behalf of Taller de Músics; Rafael Perona on behalf of the Centre Cultural Gitano de la Mina and Mauro Torres on behalf of Les Claus d’Or. This good representation of authorities and civil society was accompanied by artists, friends, collaborators and fans, such as the current winner of the Desplante Award of the International Festival of Cante de las Mines, the Catalan dancer David Romero, the writer Montse Madridejos or Mimo Agüero from the Tablao de Carmen.
