Since 1996 Pol Vaquero has been the principal dancer of the Ballet Flamenco of Antonio Canales and is a regular dancer of Tablao Flamenco Cordobes. He starred in the production “Torero” of the same Ballet in the city of Guadalajara, Mexico on March 2, 2019 with the promotion of the University of Guadalajara and Santander Bank Mexico.

Flamenco experts, students and enthusiasts gathered in the Plácido Domingo hall of the cultural centre to give a standing ovation to an impeccable flamenco choreography in which the Spanish fiesta brava is revealed. Among singers and musicians of the renown of Israel Cerreduela, who is also frequent in the iconic tablao of the Ramblas of Barcelona, the 9 dancers headed by Pol Vaquero and Mónica Hernández represented the story of a bullfighter and a poetic approach to the portrait of the bull itself in its fight and its agony after defeat until its death. During a second part, Antonio Canales joined the dance and demonstrated, together with Vaquero and his company, his complete dedication to flamenco, a complete dance that expresses the deepest emotions of humanity.

From 16 March to 11 April Tablao Flamenco Cordobes presents Pol Vaquero, together with an internationally renowned artistic cast such as Claudia Cruz, Begoña Arce, Davinia Jaén, David Cerreduela, Israel Cerreduela, among others.
