Once we cross the Rambla de Mar walkway we come back to mainland! Now we start walking in the Rambla and we see the first thing that attracts our attention: a man pointing at the see in a column of 58 metres high. He is Cristobal Colón, the sailor who discovered America thinking he was in India. A lift brings us to the top of the monument where the discoverer is placed. Up there we find a fantastic viewpoint where we will enjoy a great panoramic view of the harbour and the labyrinthine streets of Ciutat Vella.
