David Palomar
David Palomar is a cantaor of recognized prestige and an illustrious representative of Cádiz flamenco. His professional debut began with the group "Levantito" as a vocalist and producer.
In 1998, as a singer, he premiered the show "Sólo por arte" at the Bienal de Sevilla and with the company of Javier Barón.
After this, David continued working with different companies such as Carmen Cortés. Next to her, she premiered the show of Japanese artists Shoji Kojima and Yoko Gomatsubara "Soleá, un son enterno", touring Japan. With the company of Javier Peña he represented as a singer the show "Flamenco in concert" that took him on tour in Australia and the United States. The last of the companies he worked with during this stage was Javier Latorre, represented by the show "El nombre de la rosa" and "Ambivalencia".
His first solo performances begin in 2007, premiering his own show "Cádiz", produced by the Andalusian Agency for the Development of Flamenco, sharing the stage with Mariana Cornejo and Carmen de la Jara. The following year he performs on numerous occasions with the Orquestra Manuel de Falla de Cádiz, directed by José Luis López Aranda, performing folk songs by Lorca. He also participates in the premiere of the show "Flamenco Hoy" by Carlos Saura and in the XVIth Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla. In the Central Milk Room of Cádiz he gave his first recitals of solo cante: "Palomar, el cante".
A year later, in 2008, David released his first album "Trimilenaria", to which the specialized web deflamenco.com awards the best debut album. With the experience gained and even more desire to move forward, it would only take two more years for her to present her second album "La Viña: Cantón independiente. In 2012 he released his third album, presented during the celebrations of the Bicentennial of the Spanish Constitution held in Cádiz at the Gran Teatro Falla. An album tribute to the life and work of the great Chavela Vargas entitled "La Dama del Poncho Rojo". Thanks to the presentation tour of this album, he presented it on stages such as the Quintero Theater in Seville or in front of more than twelve thousand people at the Cosquín Festival in Argentina, which was televised through the National Television Network. He also presents the album in La Noche Blanca del Flamenco in Córdoba, the Biennial in Holland, the Nimes Festival, the Flamenco Festival in Mont-de-Marsan, the Seville Biennial and the XIVth Festival de Jerez, among others.
We arrived in 2013, year in which David travels to Montevideo to perform his show "Gaditanía" with full in Sala Verdi for two consecutive days and toured throughout Argentina and appears in the program "Flamenco para tus Ojos" on TV channel 2 Spanish, presented by the famous cantaor Diego "El Cigala" in recognition of his work as a representative of the Cádiz-born cantes. Marcos Flores
Born in Cádiz, his professional experience begins in tablaos and Andalusian festivals. In 2001 he joined the Sara Baras Company and Rafael Amargo. In 2003 he started his solo projects and created the dance company ESS3 Movimiento together with Olga Pericet, Daniel Doña and Manuel Liñán.
As a soloist she dances at the Flamenco Festival of Lepe, at the International Music and Dance Festival of Granada and participates in the 50th Anniversary Gala of the Corral de la Morería.
In 2007 he created "En Clave" with Manuel Liñán and Olga Pericet and participated in the Flamenco Festival in New York and London, with excellent reviews.
Rosario Toledo
Graduated in Spanish Dance by the Superior Conservatory of Dance of Seville, during its beginnings it is part of the Company of Manuela Carrasco and Antonio El Pipa.
Soon after, he added his activity in renowned tablaos such as 'El Cordobés' in Barcelona or 'Los Gallos' in Seville. In addition, he works as soloist with Mario Maya in his show 'De Cádiz a Cuba, la mar de Flamenco. After the experience acquired, she decided to develop projects with her own company, reaping an enormous success from critics and audiences and becoming an essential dancer in the current flamenco scene.
Jesús Fernández
Born in Cádiz, with only 16 years of age, he obtains the National Flamenco Dancing Award of Estepona (Málaga).
He began his professional career performing in numerous flamenco clubs and tablaos in Madrid. In 2009, he presented his first show "Ataduras", which premiered in London and took him on tour through the main theaters in Spain and Italy.
He is invited to participate in the work Medea and obtains the Performing Arts Award from The Netherlands. In 2010, El Desplante stands out during the 50th anniversary of the prestigious International Festival of Cante de las Minas.
The Quini de Jerez
Joaquín Marín Flores, artistically known as "El Quini de Jerez", was born in Jerez, in the neighborhood of La Plazuela, in 1980, in the gypsy family of los Pastillas. With only 12 years old, he began his career as a palmero accompanying the dancer Manuela Carpio until he was 15, when he joined the company of Antonio el Pipa. Throughout his career he has worked with many important artists, such as Tomasa Guerrero "La Macanita", Fernando Terremoto, Elu de Jerez or Merchora Ortega, among others. Already at 20 years old, mature as a singer, he decides to venture into cante and leave behind his stage as a palmero. At Lagar de Parrilla, one of the most emblematic venues in Jerez starts as a singer and they begin their performances in clubs, contests and festivals, winning first prize of the Contest of Cantes by Bulería de Jerez a year later. After his success he joined the company of Antonio Gades, traveling the world tour after tour: USA, France, London, California, Morocco or Brazil have been some of their destinations.
Anabel Rivera
Born in the neighborhood of Mentidero (Cádiz), she is a cantaora with a long career as a professional behind her back. Winner of the second prize of the National Contest of Alegrías, of the second prize of the Contest of Tientos de Cádiz and of the second prize to the Cante por Bulerías in San Fernando, Cádiz. He has performed in festivals and theaters around the world with great artists, such as Niña Pastori, El Barrio, Pilar Ogalla, Javier LaTorre or India Martínez, among others. Anabel Rivera has performed in all types of festivals: New York Flamenco Festival, Munich Flamenco Festival, Monterrey Flamenco Festival, Instituto Cervantes Festival in Bucharest, Festival Instituto Cervantes in Paris, Festival de Luxemburgo, Festival Catalunya Arte Flamenco, La Suma Flamenca de Madrid, Potaje Utrera, Gazpacho de Morón, White Night of the Flamenco of Córdoba, Seville Biennial, Flamenco Festival of Jerez and Jueves Flamencos de Cádiz are the most important ones in which he has performed. Anabel Rivera currently collaborates with the companies of cantaor David Palomar and that of cantaora Marina Heredia and pianist Dorantes, as well as with Tablao Flamenco Cordobes of Barcelona.
Miriam Vallejo
Miriam Vallejo began her career as a bailaora at the age of 9 and until 2001 she made several seminars with dancers such as Eva "La Yerbabuena", Matilde Coral, Antonio "El Pipa", Belén Maya, Rafael de Carmen and Javier Latorre. At the same time, she started her career as a cantaora working at tablaos Los Tarantos, El Cordobés and El tablao de Carmen. In 2001 he decided to give a turn to his artistic career and devote himself exclusively to flamenco singing. She was the singer of the show "Torero" by Juan de Juan, choreographed by Antonio Canales at the Teatro Apolo in Barcelona. This cantaora performed at the Forum of Cultures 2004 with "Fiesta Gitana" and was the official singer of the show "Carmen Amaya", directed by Eva Santiago. He has worked in the last two editions of the Begur Music Festival and the Carmen Amaya Festival, as well as in the Tribute to Diego Pantoja. David Cerreduela
David, known guitarist of Caño Roto, -one of the cribs of the flamenco guitar in Madrid-, is the son of the famous guitarist El Nani and grandson of a guitar builder, which explains his precocity on stage. At 14 he began his professional career accompanying none other than Lola Flores, and Merche Esmeralda. Later he is part of the Antonio Canales company in the works of Torero or Gitano, a work of which he is the author of a large part of his music, as well as accompanying the company in the shows Cuerda y Tacón and Bernarda Alba. Later he works with Juan de Juan in the work Pueblos, being the author of the musical part of the work.
Among others he has played cante Guadiana, Ramón El Portugués, El Yunque and a long etcetera. He has also collaborated on many recordings, such as Enrique Heredia El Negri, titled El último beso, Guadiana, Los Chorbos, etc.
In addition to playing for the best-known flamenco artists, he has been an accompanist for Enrique Morente for years, and having been a guitarist for the National Ballet of Spain, he has also collaborated on such important singers as Diego El Cigala, Manolo Tena, Guadiana and Antonio Carmona . Javier Patino
Born in Jerez, he starts in the flamenco guitar with José Luis Balao and Manuel Lozano "El Carbonero", and expands his training with Manolo Sanlúcar and Gerardo Núñez. He is a specialist in accompaniment for dance and has toured throughout the world with artists such as Joaquín Grilo, Carmen Cortés, Beatriz Martín, Manuela Carrasco and José Antonio, among others. From his compositional, interpretative and musical director side we can highlight that he has collaborated in the shows of the bailaor Javier Barón "Dime", "Footnotes" "Iron dance", "Bronze dance", "Meridiana", and he has composed and performed the musical direction of the show "A fuego lento" by Andrés Peña. In 2008 he participated in the collective show "De la mar al fuego", co-produced by the Flamenco Festival of Mont-de-Marsan and the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla, accompanying Luis el Zambo. A year later he participates in the shows "Two voices for a dance" by Javier Barón and "Flamenco is written with Jota" by Miguel Ángel Berna, Úrsula López and Rafael Campallo. His first solo work, entitled "Media VIda", was presented during the Festival de Flamenco de Jerez 2009, produced by Tino di Geraldo. Currently she is composing and collaborating with dancers of the stature of Belén Maya with "Dances for sad people" Ángel Muñoz "Ángel" and Olga Pericet "Rosa metal and ash" and has participated in the album of cantaor Miguel Ortega " A look back ".
