This October, Tablao Flamenco Cordobes brings leading figures and emerging flamenco talents together on La Rambla. A diverse programme shaped by the strength, elegance and personality of artists from different generations and flamenco traditions.
Paula Salazar
A Sevillian dancer trained with artists including Matilde Coral, Eva Yerbabuena, La Lupi and Rafaela Carrasco. She received the Jerez Festival Revelation Artist Award and was recognised at the Festival del Cante de las Minas.
Carmen Moreno
An Almería-born dancer with a degree in Dance Pedagogy. She has performed on prominent international stages and created Bailaora, her first solo production.
Lorena Oliva
A Barcelona-born dancer and Institut del Teatre graduate. She has won first prizes at renowned dance competitions in Barcelona and Madrid and created the production Nuclear.
Carlos Velázquez
Trained at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid and Amor de Dios, he has built an extensive international career as a soloist alongside prominent artists and companies.
Susana Escoda
Born in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, she won the Carmen Amaya Award at the Young Talents Competition and has developed an extensive career as a soloist across Europe and Japan.
José Maya
A Madrid-born dancer from a flamenco family, he began his professional career as a child. His honours include the Copa Pavón and the Best Dancer Award at the Teatro Albéniz Competition.
Alfonso Losa
A leading dancer and choreographer from the Madrid flamenco school. His honours include the Desplante Award, the soleá prize at Córdoba’s National Competition and the Jerez Festival Critics’ Award.
Águeda Saavedra
Born in Nerja and trained at the conservatories of Málaga and Madrid, she has worked with Manuel Liñán, Marco Flores and Jesús Carmona and was a soloist with Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía.
El Tete
Ricardo Fernández “El Tete”, born in Sant Roc, Badalona, stands out for the strength, elegance and maturity of his dancing. He was a finalist at Córdoba’s National Flamenco Art Competition.
Raquel Lara
Born in Cambrils, she graduated with honours in Spanish Dance and has been a member of the Spanish Ballet of the Community of Madrid while continuing to develop her professional career.
Ileana Gómez
A US-born dancer based in Madrid, she trained in Albuquerque, Seville and at Amor de Dios. She holds a master’s degree specialising in flamenco and received an award at the La Perla National Alegrías Dance Competition.
