Antonio Campos is in love with flamenco art, which has been his family’s soundtrack for generations.
Since childhood, many of the greatest flamenco artists, such as Juan de la Vara, Fernanda and Bernarda de Utrera, and Gabriel Moreno, among others, have passed through his family’s home, marking his life forever.
Antonio never looked at flamenco in a professional way until in 1998 he started working at the Tablao la Reina Mora in Granada thanks to Angustias la Mona, a dancer from Granada who told him, “you are good at this”. Since then he has been a companion and friend of some of the greatest figures of this art such as Mario Maya, Enrique Morente, Manuela Carrasco, Pepe Habichuela, Jose de la Tomasa…
In 2009 he presented his first solo album “Corral del Carbón” and in 2015 he released “Escribiendo en el Alfar”, a record book where he merges his poetry with his music.
Later, in 2017, the Provincial Council of Granada published “Desde la Alhambra yo te los cuento”, a book of short stories that was proudly presented in Tablao Flamenco Cordobes.
