Antonio Santiago “Ñoño”

Antonio Santiago better known as "Ñoño", a young guitarist but with a vintage and traditional guitar playing. Son of renowned singer Enrique "El Extremeño" Antonio Santiago, "Ñoño", began his career alongside his father, a guitar playing fan.

Son of renowned singer Enrique “El Extremeño” Antonio Santiago, “Ñoño”, began his career alongside his father, a guitar playing fan. Being 12 years he started learning in the Foundation Cristina taking lessons with artists such as Miguel Angel Cortes, Manolo Franco, Pedro Sierra among others. At 16 years his first tour with the Andalusian Assembly in San Jose in Costa Rica working for the Costa Rica goverment and later began working in the most important Tablaos of Spain. In 2004 began a tour in Japan accompanying artists like Pepe Torres, Juana Amaya, among others, and he frequented this tour every year from 2004-2013. Also in the Flamenco Spring Festival accompanying a figure in flamenco dancing such as Farruquito.

He has accompanied many figures as Antonio Canales, Farrucos family (El Farru, Barullo, La Faraona, Pilar Montoya, Manuela Carrasco among others), Juana del Revuelo, Cañete de Málaga, “El Extremeño”, the Montoya family, and La Tana among others.

In 2008 he won first prize in the guitar solo contest Cátedra de Flamencologia in Utrera.

Recently, he has been in Dubai and Russia with different companies. Nowadays he is part of one of the most important flamenco companies “Reencuentro” with Manuela Carrasco and Antonio Canales, flamenco world’s Aristocracy.
