Manuel Jiménez, known artistically as ‘Bartolo’, is a dancer born in Seville who started out in the world of flamenco with Professor Pepe Ríos. Manuel Jiménez Bartolo was trained as a professional bailaor with the renowned flamenco dancer José Galván and throughout his artistic career he toured tablaos in Seville, Madrid and Barcelona, such as our Tablao Flamenco Cordobes, where he participated in the 25th anniversary of the historic Tablao de Las Ramblas in Barcelona.
Manuel Jiménez has also participated as principal dancer in festivals of international name such as the Bienal de Sevilla, Cité de la Musique de París, Mont de Marsan, Festival de Carmen Amaya or La Caracola de Lebrija. During all these years she has shared the stage with great figures of flamenco art such as Israel Galván, Manuela Carrasco, Juana Amaya, Tomatito, Farruquito and Sara Baras among other colleagues.
