Javier Flores is a flamenco singer born in Sevilla, concretely in Polígono Sur. He is the nephew of Pepe de Pura , a famous flamenco singer also born in Sevilla and who works in one of the most important flamenco companies of the world.

Javier Flores loves flamenco since he was a kid. He debuted in the Peñas Flamencas (flamenco clubs) he had around when he was only nine years old. The audience was dazzled by the voice of a kid who, in that precise moment, discovered the profession he will dedicate his life to.

After that night, Javier kept rehearsing and performing every time he could. Sometime after, he performed, learnt the trade and perfected his technique in Tablaos like Los Gallos , El Arenal or Museo del Baile Flamenco .

His art as a singer is inspired by flamenco legends like Chocolate, Caracol or Tio Borrico, some of the most famous flamenco singers.

Already an adult, his hard work and talent brought him to perform in scenarios around the world. From Brasil to France, Mexico, Miami, Texas, Arabia Saudi, Japan, Netherlands and Germany.

Javier Flores has participated in many flamenco festivals like Festival de Jerez, Festival de Ronda and Festival de Malilva. Furthermore, he has performed in the most distinguished theatres of Spain like Teatro Cervantes in Malaga, El Quinteros of Sevilla, La Latina in Madrid, o El Lope de Vega.

During all those performances he shared scenario with countless flamenco artists. Among all of them we can highlight Torombo, Farruca, Rafael de Carmen, Pastora Galván, Junco, Choro, Gema Moneo, La Lupi, Beatriz Morales, Marquesita and Oscar de los Reyes, among many others.

He also played in the theatrical production “Carmen” in Estepona, Málaga, and also collaborated with Ramon Montoya during the tribute to Agustín Carbonell.

Finally, he is currently putting the final touches on his disc “Javier Flores” which will be released in December.
