Lucía Campillo
She started her career in the Professional Conservatory of Dance in Murcia and finished them in the Royal Professional Conservatory of Madrid. She combined the studies with her training in the Ballet Training Course by the National Spanish Ballet with Jose Antonio.
She has continued the training with great masters such as Merche Esmeranda, Jose Antonio, Antonio Canales, Javier Latorre, Milagros Mengíbar or Maribel Gallardo. During that time she collaborated with Iberia, a film by Carlos Saura, an adaptation of the firm Suite iberia by Isaac Albéniz.
She started her career in the Foundation Antonio Gades with the shows Carmen, Bodas de Sangre, Suite Flamenca and Fuenteovejuna. In 2010 she joined the National Spanish Ballet as a soloist dancer and main dancer under the direction of Jose Antonio and, later, under the direction of Antonio Najarro, performing in the most important theatres of Spain and the world. She collaborated also as guest artist in the company of the dancer Jesús Carmona, in the show Cuna Negra y Blanca, participating in prestigious festivals such as the Jerez Festival or the Biennale of Seville.
In 2013 she quitted the National Ballet and joined the company of Rojas and Rodríguez with Cambio de Tercio. She toured around the world with the show Gala Flamenca, directed by Miguel Ángel Rojas and sharing stage with artists such as Antonio Canales, Karime Amaya, Jesús Carmona and Carlos Rodríguez.
In 2014 she joined the company of María Pagés with the show Yo, Carmen, an activity that combined with performances in important tablaos such as Casa Patas, Corral de la Morería and, of course, Tablao Flamenco Cordobés.
