She started her formation in Spanish Dance at 9 years old in the Málaga Professional Dance Conservatory, graduating in Flamenco Pedagogy in Madrid’s Superior Conservatory “María de Ávila”.

She has deepened her flamenco formation by the hand of great artists, such as Mercedes Ruiz, Iván Vargas, Paco Mora, Pastora Galván, Eva la Yerbabuena, Oscar Quero, Juan de Juan, La Moneta, Rocío Molina, Israel Galván, Domingo Ortega, Marcos Flores, Alfonso Losa, Rafaela Carrasco, Isabel Bayón or Manuel Liñán.
Marivi is the Second Prize in the IIth edition of the Tablao Villarrosa Contest, providing her a chance to debut as a pro on the stage of a Tablao.
After her extense formation and thanks to the momentum of her first professional experience as a dancer, she managed to start a very fruitful career. She has participated in the plays “Las Trece Rosas”, “Juana la Loca”, “Anita Delgado”, “Las Vacantes” or “Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios”, the show “Pasito a Paso”, by Sergio Aranda in the flamenco cycle Viene del Sur, the operas “Carmen” and “Don Pascuale” in the Cervantes Theatre in Málaga, the show “Zambomba Flamenca” in La Latina Theatre, in Madrid, with the show “Antojo”, by Antonio Canales in its tour in Venezuela, in 2012, with the show “Antojo”, by Antonio Canales in its tour in Venezuela, in 2012, with the José Porcel Dance Company in Tel Aviv, Israel.
As well as several performances in different tablaos, such as Tablao Flamenco Cordobes, Las Carboneras, Cardamomo, Torero, Villa Rosa and Casa Patas.
