Marta Hermoso
Born in Seville in 1991, Marta Hermoso is a dancer with a solid artistic foundation built from the age of five, when she began training with Juan Polvillo. She later completed professional studies in Spanish dance and broadened her education with major masters such as Matilde Coral, La Toná, Milagros Mengíbar, Antonio Canales, Eva Yerbabuena, Rafael Campallo and Susana Casas.
Since 2018, she has been part of the Compañía Flamenca Antonio Andrade, touring internationally with the productions Carmen and Flamenco Suite. She also collaborates with the Compañía Flamenca Juan Polvillo, performing widely across Europe —including the opening of the prestigious Press Ball in Vienna— and taking part in the 22nd and 23rd editions of the Jerez Flamenco Festival.
Independently, she has performed for the Spanish Embassy in Saudi Arabia and travels throughout Europe teaching workshops and performing with her own group. She combines this work with teaching at the Juan Polvillo Flamenco School in Seville.
She frequently performs in renowned tablaos in Spain, including appearances at Tablao Flamenco Cordobes in Barcelona, a key venue for anyone wishing to experience an authentic flamenco show in Barcelona with highly respected artists.
She currently dances with the company of Luisa Palicio, premiering La Maharaní at the 9th Málaga Flamenco Biennial.
