Saray García was born in Jerez de la Frontera in 1986 into a gypsy family. Since she was a kid she was interested and curious about flamenco. When she was only 7, Saray started to take flamenco lessons from Ana María López, teacher from Jerez de la Frontera. Some years laters, and yet under the Ana Maria’s umbrella, Saray joined “Sevilla Flamenca” a flamenco company with which she performed in flamenco festivals like Mont de Marsans (France), Fiesta de la Bulería (Jérez) and Los Viernes Flamencos de Jerez, among many others.

Time after, Saray decided to expand her knowledge by taking flamenco dance lessons from renown prestige artists like Farruco Family, Juan Amaya, Rocío Molina or Joselito Romero. Saray catched a whiff from each one of them while she kept painting the colors of her art.

She intercalated lessons with performances in the main theatres of Jerez like Lagá de Tio Parrilla, La Taberna Flamenca y Bereber; in Sevilla Los Gallos and el Arenal; in Madrid in el Carboneras and in Barcelona, of course, in Tablao Flamenco Cordobes.

This way, she kept learning from the masters and also from the experience she got while performing in the tablaos, shaping her style during the process.

Among its many activities, we note solo roles in Jerez Flamenco Fridays in 2002, 2006 and 2014, as well as the Festival de Jerez 2009 acting in the room Company. He has also performed with his own flamenco show in countries like China, Germany, London, New Mexico, Japan and Belgium. All those are countries where Saray has displayed her art and talent before thousands of spectators who have been captivated by the strength and power of the Jerez dancer.

Regarding his artistic resume, during 2014 Saray García managed to win two major awards of flamenco dance: the First Prize at the III Contest Tablao Las Carboneras and the Second Prize in the National Competition La Perla de Cádiz. From the long list of solo performances that the Jerez dancer has performed during his career and with his own show we can highlight the Flamenco Festival Yacle (Murcia) and the Alcalá del Valle, Alcalá de los Azules, the Parties Autumn in Jerez, in Rennes (France) and also in Belgium, among many others. He also performed at the Festival Bulería Semilla Flamenca, achieving great success with the public.

He managed to find a place in the final of the important XXII International Contest of Flamenco Guitar Villamaria held at the Teatro de Jerez, such action can be enjoyed by the DVD that collects the competition. It was also the first dancer of the horse show The Art of Andalusia Horse, a production with which he traveled much of the Spanish geography, stopping in major provinces to the delight of its inhabitants. It was a spectacle remembered by all participants and which Saray García shone with own light in every performance.
