Yaiza Trigo

Flamenco dancer performing at Tablao Flamenco Cordobes and El Duende. Experience authentic flamenco in Barcelona live.

Yaiza Trigo was born on June 21, 2006 in Alcalá de Guadaíra, a historic cradle of soleá singing and one of the most respected flamenco territories in Andalusia. Surrounded from childhood by cante, guitar and baile, she developed a deep connection to tradition that today shines in every performance of flamenco in Barcelona.

She began her training at the age of six and quickly stood out for her strength, rhythm and stage presence. By the age of eleven she was already performing in youth flamenco showcases, marking the beginning of a steady artistic evolution that has positioned her as one of the most promising young dancers in today’s flamenco in Barcelona scene.

At fourteen she continued refining her craft under the guidance of Juana Amaya, shaping a powerful and orthodox style rooted in purity and compás. Her dedication and maturity led her to enter the professional circuit at a very young age, building the experience she now brings to audiences seeking authentic flamenco in Barcelona.

At sixteen she won the Villa de Guillena competition and the Manolo Soler contest at the Fundación Cristina Heeren, where she received the Acciona Scholarship and later the Practicum 2025 Scholarship. She also reached the semifinals of the prestigious Las Minas Festival, confirming her exceptional projection within contemporary flamenco.

Today, Yaiza Trigo performs in Barcelona at leading venues such as Tablao Flamenco Cordobes and El Duende by Tablao Cordobes, two essential stages for experiencing the best flamenco in Barcelona. Her dance combines strength, emotion and authenticity, captivating international audiences who come to discover true flamenco in Barcelona, and establishing her as one of the rising figures shaping the future of flamenco in Barcelona.
