He has been requested by French filmmaker Tony Gatlif to be the first dancer in Vértiges, his show premiered in Lyon and with whom he has toured France and Italy.

Cordobes brings back to stage one of the new outstanding prodigies in the Catalan flamenco “El Yiyo”. The star of the show El Yiyo: Sueño flamenco has shared the stage with leading figures of the Catalan flamenco as Mayte Martín or Duquende. His performances at Tablao Flamenco Cordobes are already on everyone’s lips. Karime Amaya is back as well after her success in the London Flamenco Festival alongside Antonio Canales to be a lead figure. In a peak moment in her career and guardian of the racial essence of her relative the great Carmen Amaya. Also returns after a year without visiting the Cordobes’ scene Paco Iglesias, habitual guitarist on the big stage, having worked with artists like Manuela Carrasco, Antonio Canales, Amador Rojas, Rafael de Carmen, Joselito Fernandez, Joaquin Grilo, Rafael Campayo, Carmelilla, La Tolea, La Farruca, Angelita Vargas, Carmen Montoya, La Susi and Chano Lobato, among others.

We present throughout the month of July Vaky Losada, guitarist and composer member of the Losada family from Madrid. Being only 7 years old, began his career as a percussionist with his brother Diego. Together, they form a duo that achieved several awards in many national competitions. At 8, they debut at Teatro Chino, owned by Manolita Chen and Antonio Encinas, where they perform two works accompanied by a symphony orchestra. As an adult he has continued his spectacular career with performances like at the Royal Albert Hall, alongside Montserrat Cavallé, in Cumbre Flamenca de Madrid alongside Diego el Cigala or at Kensington Palace for Princess Diana of Wales. With 6 LP recorded and a long experience on big stages, comes to Tablao Flamenco Cordobes to contribute with his musical richness and wealth of experience.

We also present for the first time the singer Luisa Muñoz, an artist with an extensive and versatile repertoire, capacity and qualities to both singing and dancing. She fully dominates the cantes festeros (festive singing), not forgeting the most solemn and jondos (profound) side, whether cantes libres (free singing) as la malagueña or la taranta, or cantes a compás (sing in rhythm) as la soleá or la bulería. Her family roots “Los Montoya”, completed with the study and dedication to singing, she has evolved considerably, increasing her already extensive repertoire with more and more songs and styles that take us back to the golden age of flamenco.

Alongside her, we also introduce for the first time the singer Manuel de la Curra, a native of Jerez de la Frontera. He was born in 1979 in a family with great flamenco tradition such as “Los Sordera” and “Los Terremoto”. Having worked with artists such as Antonio Canales and Maria Juncal and artists with great personality as Carrete, Manuel comes to Tablao Flamenco Cordobes with an enviable resume and in a moment of greatness in his career.

With them, our excellent cast of elite musicians, essential in any show. David Cerreduela, who played the guitar for figures like Lola Flores, Merche Esmeralda, Enrique Morente, El Cigala or Guadiana; Manuel Tañé, Juan Manzano “Coco”, Antonio Campos “Bocaillo”. A great cast for a July full of high quality authentic flamenco one more time.
