This June, we continue celebrating our 55th Anniversary with a passionate tribute to flamenco in Catalonia. We welcome to our stage three major flamenco stars with Catalan roots: Karime Amaya, Pedro Córdoba, and Yoel Vargas.
Karime Amaya, grand-niece of the legendary Carmen Amaya and a long-time resident of Barcelona, has inherited her aunt’s strength and intensity in footwork. Pedro Córdoba, born in Sabadell, has forged a new path in flamenco dance, collaborating with masters such as Enrique Morente, Javier Latorre, Eva la Yerbabuena, and Vicente Amigo, among many others. Last but not least, joining them is the young and talented Yoel Vargas, winner of the 2023 Desplante Award and recognized by Dance Magazine as one of the “25 to Watch.”
Alongside them, a stellar lineup including Mercedes de Córdoba, Juan Tomás de la Molía, Águeda Saavedra, Carlos Velázquez, Yaiza Trigo, and Inés Rubio fuses experience, youth, and full dedication on our stage.
