Flamenco dancer from Chiclana de la Frontera, Cádiz, she holds a degree in Spanish dance and advanced training in flamenco. She has been recognized with awards such as “Veo Veo” (2001 and 2002), the National Flamenco Competition of Ubrique (2008), and the Desencaja Andalucía Award (2010).
At the age of 12, she portrayed Lola Flores in the movie “Lola” and joined Antonio El Pipa’s company, performing on international stages. She has participated in renowned festivals such as the Jerez Festival, La Unión, the Bienal de Sevilla, and the Festival de la Parpuja. Moreover, she has worked with major companies like those of Sara Baras and María Pagés. In 2011, she appeared in Caroline Chormienne’s film “Vert, je t’aime vert” alongside dancer Cristina Hoyos.
As the director of her own company, she has presented the shows “Recuerdos” and “Ocho letras, ocho palos”. In 2021, she won the television competition “The Dancer” and continues to share her art through new productions worldwide.
RAFAEL RAMÍREZ
Director, choreographer, and flamenco dancer born in Estepona. After a successful tour in cities such as New York, Washington DC, Seattle, and Miami, where his show was acclaimed as "the best dance performance presented in Florida," Rafael has solidified his career as a director and dancer. His work “Entorno” earned him the Revelation Award at the Jerez Festival 2023, after premiering at the Gran Teatro Cervantes in Málaga.
With his own company, he has participated in renowned cycles such as Flamenco viene del Sur and the Bienal de Sevilla. In addition to “Lo Preciso” and “Entorno”, he has created shows such as “Romances del Pasado”, “Toques en mi conciencia”, and “Malagueando”.
Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards, including El Desplante at the International Cante de las Minas Festival (La Unión) in 2021, the National Flamenco Competition of Ubrique (2016), and the Andalusian Young Flamenco Talent Contest, among others.
He has worked with prestigious companies such as those of Antonio Andrade, Carmen Mota, Rafael Carrasco, and María Pagés, and has performed at major tablaos in Spain, establishing himself as a leading figure in contemporary flameco scene.
JOSÉ ESCARPÍN
José Escarpín is a dancer from Murcia. He began his studies at the age of 7 years old in the Amor de Dios School in Madrid, with great teachers. He was the winner of the “World Guinness Record 2010ˮ of “taconeoˮ and winner of the “Melón de Oroˮ festival of “Lo Ferroˮ, the only dancer in the world with this award. He has presented his shows in different theaters and auditoriums around the world, taking his career to different parts of the world: Miami, Los Angeles, Arizona, Mexico, Texas, New York, Italy, among others. He is currently working in the best tablaos in Spain.
MAISE MÁRQUEZ
Flamenco dancer from Murcia, she holds a degree in Spanish Dance from the Professional Dance Conservatory of Murcia. She continued her training with a scholarship from the Cristina Heeren Foundation and the Andalusian Dance Center, studying with renowed masters such as Farruquito, Rubén Olmo, and Milagros Mengíbar.
She has performed in tablaos in Seville, Madrid, and Málaga and has been part of prestigious companies led by Rubén Olmo, Milagros Mengíbar, Eva Yerbabuena, and Patricia Guerrero, as well as the Andalusian Flamenco Ballet. She was awarded the Premio Extraordinario at the Jerez Festival 2019 and the Kairós 2023 Award for Best Choreography.
Currently, she directs her own company, presenting the shows “Habla la tierra” and “Presencia” at international festivals and theaters, including the Jerez Festival, La Villette in Paris, and Les Nuits Flamencas in Aubagne.
MANUEL JIMÉNEZ MONTES
A highly regarded flamenco dancer from Córdoba, he is known for his discipline and artistic rigor. His career has led him to perform on renowned stages in the United States, Europe, and the United Arab Emirates. Trained at the Luis del Río Professional Dance Conservatory and specialized in flamenco dance pedagogy at the María de Ávila Superior Dance Conservatory in Madrid, his journey combines training in flamenco, classical, and contemporary dance under esteemed masters such as Rubén Olmo, Farruquito, and Ángel Rojas.
He has participated in iconic festivals such as the Cata de Montilla, where he shared the stage with artists like Marina Heredia and Carmen Linares; the Moriles Festival with Rubén Olmo; and in theaters such as the Góngora in Córdoba and Teatros del Canal with the Andalusian Flamenco Ballet. With this company, he stood out at events like the 50th Anniversary Festival of the Ceuta Flamenco Tertulia, accompanying maestro Manuel Moreno Maya "El Pele." He was a soloist in Geneva with the Spanish Flamenco Ballet, sharing the stage with Antonio Sánchez, nephew of Paco de Lucía.
MARTA HERMOSO
She began dancing at the age of 5 under the guidance of Juan Polvillo and trained in Spanish dance with masters such as Matilde Coral, Antonio Canales, Eva Yerbabuena, and Rafael Campallo. Since 2018, she has been a member of the Compañía Flamenca Antonio Andrade, with which she has toured numerous countries with the shows "Carmen" and "Flamenco Suite."
As a soloist, she has performed for the Spanish Embassy in Saudi Arabia, and with the Compañía Flamenca Juan Polvillo, she has toured Europe, notably performing at the inauguration of the prestigious press dance in Vienna. She has also participated in the XXII and XXIII editions of the Festival Flamenco de Jerez.
Currently, she combines her performances in Spanish tablaos with her role as a teacher at the Escuela Flamenca Juan Polvillo in Seville.
YAIZA TRIGO
Flamenco dancer from Alcalá de Guadaira, she began dancing at the age of 6 in a flamenco family environment and solidified her training with the renowned Juana Amaya. She has participated in prominent festivals such as La Noche de San Miguel and Noctaria, and won the Concurso Villa de Guillena, which led to her performance at the XVI Festival de la Bulería in Guillena. She was also the winner of the Concurso Manolo Soler at the Fundación Cristina Heeren, where she received the Acciona scholarship.
In 2022, she premiered her first show "Sueño" in her hometown and continued her training with masters such as Rafael Campallo, Farruquito, and Beatriz Morales. Additionally, she was a semifinalist in the Concurso de Baile de las Minas de la Unión. With the Acciona Practicum scholarship, she will continue to refine her artistry and participate in the Bienal de Sevilla 2025.
