Experiencing flamenco in Barcelona means more than watching a show, it means witnessing a living art performed by artists who regularly appear in Spain’s most important festivals and companies.

This March, the stage of Tablao Flamenco Cordobes welcomes an exceptional cast of dancers combining established masters and rising stars of contemporary flamenco. Many of them alternate international tours, major productions and appearances at renowned events such as the Festival de Jerez and the Seville Biennial.

Every performance is different. Each artist brings their own personality, style and emotion, making every night unique.

Ángel Reyes

A central figure on our stage, Córdoba-born dancer Ángel Reyes embodies the essence of traditional flamenco. His dancing is defined by depth, elegance and extraordinary technical control. Audiences immediately recognize the power of his footwork and the intensity of his restrained, expressive presence.

A regular performer at major festivals such as the Seville Biennial and the Festival de Jerez, his performances represent the purest flamenco in Barcelona. Watching him in the intimacy of the tablao reveals nuances impossible to perceive in large theatres.

Cristina Soler

Cristina Soler began dancing at just three years old and has developed into one of the most complete flamenco dancers of her generation. She trained at the Reina Sofía Conservatory in Granada, the Andalusian Dance Centre in Seville, and later graduated with honors in Choreography and Interpretation from the María de Ávila Higher Conservatory in Madrid.

She currently performs with leading companies including Rafaela Carrasco, Mercedes de Córdoba and Farruquito, appearing in productions presented at the world’s most prestigious flamenco festivals.

Seeing her as a soloist in the tablao allows audiences to experience a closer, more emotional side of flamenco in Barcelona, where every gesture and musical accent can be felt from only a few steps away.

Sara Caro

Sara Caro is known for her powerful stage presence and emotional intensity. Her dancing combines elegance, character and musical sensitivity, qualities that shine especially in the closeness of a traditional tablao.

In an intimate venue like ours, her performance becomes a direct connection with the audience — one of the main reasons travelers seek authentic flamenco in Barcelona rather than large theatrical productions.

Paula Salazar

Málaga-born dancer Paula Salazar has built a strong artistic career between major companies and her own productions. After training in Málaga and Seville, she received a scholarship from the Andalusian Dance Centre and later joined the companies of Rubén Olmo and Joaquín Grilo, touring internationally.

Her career includes recognitions such as Second Prize at the prestigious Cante de las Minas Festival. She has premiered solo productions at the Festival de Jerez and performed across Europe, including Paris.

Her style blends strength, musicality and contemporary elegance, representing today’s evolving flamenco in Barcelona while remaining deeply rooted in tradition.

If you are looking for authentic flamenco in Barcelona, Tablao Flamenco Cordobes offers the rare opportunity to watch world-class artists just a few feet from the stage, without artificial amplification, in a venue designed exclusively for flamenco.
