Antonio Molina “El Choro”


He was born in Huelva in 1985. He learned the basics of flamenco from his father “El Choro” He broadened and deepened his training with Manolo Marín and Javier Cruz, until in 1999 he won the II Huelva Youth Flamenco Dance Contest organized by the Cristina Heeren Foundation , thus settling in Seville to continue his studies at this school with teachers such as Javier Barón, Israel Galván, Rafael Campallo among others.

In 2002 he was part of the Israel Galván company in the show “Galvánicas” premiered at the XII Bienal de Flamenco.


And the following year he participates in the tour of the show, “Rafael Campallo y los Jovenes Flamencos”, with which he performs at the “Festival Flamenco” in Monterrey, Philadelphia, New York and at the “Miami Festival”.


In 2004 he performs at the Festival de Jerez in the show by Adela and Rafael Campallo with whom he premieres, at the XIII Bienal de Flamenco “Don Juan Flamenco” and they work in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. That same year he was part of the Eva la Yerbabuena Company, with the show “Eva”.


In 2006 she participated in the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla within the Cycle “Young Promises”. And in that same year, Javier Barón counted on him for his show “Two voices for a dance” performing in Los Angeles, Paris, Seville, Córdoba and Jerez.


He performs again at the 2008 Bienal de Sevilla, this time as part of the “Jóvenes Valores del Flamenco” Company with the work “Tiempos Pasados” directed by Juan Dolores Caballero “El Chino” which premieres at the Alameda Theater.


From 2009 to 2012 he was part of the Manuela Carrasco Company for the premiere of the show “Suspiro Flamenco” at the Central Theater in Seville and for the following tour of the most emblematic stages in Japan, and he continues to be part of the Javier Barón Company. with whom he premiered the show “Vaivenes” at the XVI Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla.


In 2013 he is part of the guitarist company of Niño de Pura illustrating his recitals and is a guest artist in Juana Amaya’s show, “Morón Baila”.


Since 2015 he has been part of the Vicente Amigo Company with which he is still present to this day.


In 2016 he premiered his first solo show: “Aviso: Bayles de Jitanos” at the XX Festival de Jerez, under the direction of Rafael Estévez and produced by the Cristina Heeren Foundation with the collaboration of the Andalusian Flamenco Institute, with which he won the Festival Revelation Award. Since its premiere, the show has been represented until 2018 in different places such as Tel Aviv, at the “Festival Días de Flamenco” in Albuquerque, “Iberica Contemporánea” in Querétaro, “Festival de Arte Flamenco” in Monterrey, “Festival Aire Flamenco” at Mont de Marsan, “Festival Andalou” in Avignon, “Tanzhaus Nrw” in Düsseldorf, Suma Flamenca in Madrid, the Gran Teatro de Huelva, and at the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla, among others.


In 2018 he premiered his second show: “GELEM”, this time directed by Manuel Liñan, at the Villamarta Theater within the XXII Festival de Jerez, also performed at the Gran Teatro de Huelva and at the Suma Flamenca de Madrid, at the Teatros del Canal .


In April of that year, he also presented a smaller show, “MI BAILE” in the cycle Los Jueves Flamencos de Cajasol and other cycles.


In 2019 he enters as a guest artist in the show “ÍNTIMO” by Miguel Poveda with which he continues to collaborate to this day.


His new production, “#SiDiosKiere”, premieres at the Villamarta Theater within the Festival de Jerez 2022 directed by Juan Dolores Caballero “El Chino”, in June it will be presented again at the Central Theater of Seville within the Flamenco Comes from the South cycle and in Huelva at the Huelva City Flamenco festival.


José Serrano


José Serrano was born in Córdoba where he began his studies in Spanish dance and flamenco under the guidance of maestro Antonio Mondejar. He later moved to Seville with Manolo Marín and at the age of 15 began his professional career in the company of Mario Maya in the show "El Amor Brujo".


In 1988 he was part of the Yoko Komatsubara company in the show “I chose flamenco” premiered at the Spanish Theater in Madrid and in the Rafael Aguilar company in the choreography “Bolero de Ravel”.


In 1989 she works in the Ballet of Cristina Hoyos in her first show “Sueños Flamencos” premiered at the Cirque D ”hiver, within the Paris Festival.


In 1989 she participates in the film “Montoyas y Tarantos” by director Vicente Escriva.


That same year he joined the National Ballet of Spain, remaining until 1998, where he performed practically the entire repertoire as soloist and first dancer, highlighting the role of “Jason” in “Medea” by Jose Granero, under the direction of Miguel Narros.


At the same time, he participates in the staging of “La Gallarda” by Rafael Alberti at the opening of Expo 92 in Seville.


In 1998 he joined the Antonio Canales company as a guest artist, playing the main roles in the plays “La casa de Bernarda Alba” and “Guernica” directed by LLuis Pascual.


In 1998 he joined the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía as a guest artist and remained until 1999.


In 1999 he choreographed “A Fuego Slow” together with Luis Ortega to celebrate the International Dance Day gala at the Albeniz Theater in Madrid.


He plays the character “Julio Romero de Torres” from the show “Musa Gitana” by Paco Peña’s company premiered in London.


He travels to Japan to choreograph with Luis Ortega the show “Bodas de Sangre” by Yoko Komatsubara’s company.


In the year 2000 he enters as a guest artist and choreographer of the company of Sara Baras and remains until 2017. Performing and creating together with the artist, the shows:


“Juana la Loca” “Sabores” “Mariana Pineda” “Carmen” “Talent in its purest form”, “Essence”, “La Pepa”, “Medusa”, “Voices” and “Shadows”


In 2005 he choreographed and performed with Sara Baras the piece “Asturias” for the film “Iberia” by Carlos Saura.


Cristina Soler Valero


Graduated in professional teachings of Spanish Dance from the “Reina Sofía” conservatory in Granada. He extended his training for two years at the Andalusian Dance Center (CAD) in Seville. Later he made the leap to Madrid where he graduated with outstanding marks in the specialty of Choreography and Interpretation of Spanish Dance and Flamenco, at the Superior Dance Conservatory "María de Ávila", Madrid.


28 years old, native of Granada.


He began his first steps in flamenco at the early age of 3 years.


Graduated in professional teachings of Spanish Dance from the “Reina Sofía” conservatory in Granada. He extended his training for two years at the Andalusian Dance Center (CAD) in Seville. Later he made the leap to Madrid where he graduated with outstanding marks in the specialty of Choreography and Interpretation of Spanish Dance and Flamenco, at the Superior Dance Conservatory “María de Ávila”, Madrid.


Professionally, she has been awarded a scholarship by the “Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía” during the period of creation of “In the memory of cante 1922”, under the direction of Rafaela Carrasco, 2013. And worked on multiple artistic projects under the direction of artists from the stature of Eva la Yerbabuena, Rubén Olmo, Daniel Doña, Teresa Nieto, María Rovira, Marina Heredia, among others, making national and international tours through important theaters and festivals. She complements her work in companies with that of a regular dancer in different tablaos in Andalusia, Madrid and abroad.


In 2019, she is part of the show headed by Granada-born singer Marina Heredia, “Lorca y la Pasión, Un mar de sueño”, under the choreographic direction of Eva la Yerbabuena, sharing the stage with artists of the stature of Farruquito, José Valencia, Miguel Poveda, José Quevedo “Bolita”, Chema del Barco and stage direction by Rosario Pardo.


In 2020 he presents his first solo project “Los Males de España” under the stage direction of Rafaela Carrasco, on the occasion of his final project for higher studies, qualified with the highest exponent and finalist for the extraordinary award of the Community of Madrid.


He is currently part of the cast of two of the most important companies on the scene, working under the direction of Mercedes de Córdoba with the show “Sí, Quiero”, and under the direction of Rafaela Carrasco, with the show “Nocturna”.


Carmen Young


Mexican dancer, originally from the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico.

She began her dance studies at the "Flamenco Vive" Academy.


From the age of eight she began taking courses with Cristóbal Reyes with whom she studied during her stay in Madrid in 2001. From 2012 she has continued her studies in Madrid and Seville, being her main teachers, Antonio and Manuel Reyes, Javier Baron, Carmelilla Montoya and Milagros Mengibar; she has also studied with Luisa Palicio, Mercedes de Cordoba, Adela Campallo and Lucia "La Piñona", among others.

At the age of 18 she was a repeater of Cristobal Reyes in his 2011 and 2012 tours of courses in various cities in Mexico, and was the winner of the scholarship for Study Abroad awarded by the Cultural Institute of Aguascalientes, Mexico through the State Fund for Culture and the Arts, FECA 2012-2013 with which she studied at Amor de Dios.

She was part of Maria Juncal's company "Bailamos Flamenco" 2013 as a soloist dancer in the theater of Mexico City. She has performed in various theaters, halls, tablaos such as Cardamomo, Villarosa, Las Carboneras, La Pacheca and Candela in Madrid, Casa del Arte and Jardines de Zoraya in Granada, flamenco cycles and distinguished festivals such as "Flamencos y Mestizos" directed by Paco Ortega in Madrid (2015) solo, In Bilbao (2017) together with Antonio Molina "El Choro" and Úbeda (2019) in which he premieres his first proposal "Calle de la Compañía" and repeat that same year in June in the IV Festival Esprit de _Bayonna. In Jerez where she was a soloist in the XX Festival de Jerez with the show "Eclosión" of the Cristina Heeren Foundation and as corps de ballet in "Flamenconautas" directed by Javier Latorre in the XXII Festival de Jerez.

First understudy of the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía in 2019. In November of that year she performs with Rosalía at the MTVEMA's in Seville and collaborates in 2020 and 2022 with the Dior brand for brand events. Currently repeating the show "#SiDiosKiere" by Antonio Molina "El Choro" which premiered on March 3 at the XXVI Festival de Jerez at the Teatro Villamarta.

In recognitions; 2018 receives the Special Prize in the contest Tablao Las Carboneras, semifinalist in the contest of Tablao Villa Rosa 2019, and finalist in the Contest Flamenco Puro de Jerez 2020.

In 2022 she receives the First Prize in the first edition of the Tablao Los Amayas contest and in the 31st Spanish Dance and Flamenco Choreography Contest she receives 3 awards: Festival de Jerez for a performance in the 2023 edition, Residency at the Centro Coreográfico La Gomera and invitation as a choreographer in the Rosario Vancouver Company in Canada. In teaching she has been a repeater of Javier Baron (2015-2018), Carmelilla Montoya (2018-2019) at the Cristina Heeren Foundation at the same time she has been a teacher in basic level of that school, monitor and dance assistant in the singing and guitar classes of Juan José Amador, Paco Cortés, Pedro Sánchez among others (2015- 2019). She lives in Seville where she has been working since 2018 in the tablaos Teatro Flamenco Triana, Casa de la Memoria, Tablao El Arenal
