Born in Granada, she began her flamenco training at the age of four at the María Jesús Ocaña “Marichu” Academy and later studied with great masters such as Eva Yerbabuena, Javier Latorre and Eduardo Serrano “El Güito”. Over the years, she also trained in classical and contemporary dance, taking part in prestigious programs with Mario Maya, Juan Ramírez and Belén López.
Her professional debut took place at the Teatro Isabel la Católica in Granada during the II Flamenco Singing Contest. In 1996 she premiered her first show “Ojaranza”, touring stages across Spain, France and Portugal. Since then, she has performed in the iconic caves of Sacromonte and in renowned tablao flamenco venues such as Jardines de Zoraya, Cardamomo, Torres Bermejas and the historic Tablao Flamenco Cordobés, one of the leading spaces for flamenco in Barcelona. She has also taken her art to Italy, Turkey, Portugal and on several tours across China with the Flamenco Company of Granada.
Awarded First Prize at the Flamenco Puro Turín de la Frontera Contest at the Festival de Jerez (2020), she currently directs her own production “Etéreo” while continuing to perform at festivals and major venues. Her dance embodies the strength, passion and authenticity of a true Barcelona flamenco show.
