Miriam Migueles Vallejo is a flamenco artist born in 1981 in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. At the age of 9 she began to study dance with the artist Ana Márquez and combining her training with courses with Matilde Corral, El Mimbre, Belén Maya, Eva La Yerbabuena or Javier Latorre. From the age of 13 she began to dance in peñas, festivals and different tablaos in Barcelona. At the age of 14 she began to combine her career as a bailaora with that of a cantaora (flamenco singer) and she shared the bill at different festivals with artists such as Funi, Andorrano, Juana La del Pipa, Chano Lobato, Juana La Revuelo and Carmen Linares. She has also worked in companies such as “Mujeres” by Marcos Flores and has won different prizes in singing and dance competitions. When she was 21, she decided to stop dancing and dedicate herself to singing.
