The National Film Archive programmes the projection of ‘Carmen, Carmen, Carmen’, produced by Tablao Flamenco Cordobes

On the 7th of December, the Filmoteca Nacional (National Film Library) will programme in Madrid the screening of 'Carmen, Carmen, Carmen', a show produced by Tablao Flamenco Cordobes in homage to the immortal dancer Carmen Amaya and which will be presented by its director and scriptwriter Luis P. Adame, who will be with Karime Amaya, dancer and grand niece of Carmen Amaya.

'Carmen, Carmen, Carmen'

On the 7th of December, the Filmoteca Nacional (National Film Library) will programme in Madrid the screening of ‘Carmen, Carmen, Carmen’, a show produced by Tablao Flamenco Cordobes in homage to the immortal dancer Carmen Amaya and which will be presented by its director and scriptwriter Luis P. Adame, who will be with Karime Amaya, dancer and grand niece of Carmen Amaya. 

 

The Catalan production, which will be screened at 20:30 in the Cine Doré (Calle de Santa Isabel,3), features the participation of José Maya, Karime Amaya, Belén López and La Tana among other great artists and is part of the Ciclo de Cine Gitano Dikhipen. 

 

In addition to the production of Tablao Flamenco Cordobes, the film series also includes the documentary ‘Helios Gómez, tinta y munición’ by Pilar Távora, the documentary ‘Romipen’ by Helena Bayona, ‘María de la O’ by Ramón Torrado and ‘Peret, yo soy la rumba’ by Paloma Zapata from the 3rd to the 8th of December.
