He began his journey as a game when he was only 3 years old, but it was at 8 when he entered the "Professional Conservatory of Malaga to study Spanish Dance and Flamenco, moving to Madrid at just 15 and finishing them at the " Carmen Amaya Professional Conservatory" with the qualification of OUTSTANDING.
Águeda Saavedra began her formal dance training at the age of 8 at the Professional Conservatory of Málaga, where she studied Spanish Dance and Flamenco. In 2015, at the age of 15, she moved to Madrid to continue her education at the Professional Dance Conservatory Carmen Amaya, graduating with top honors.
In 2019, she performed as a guest artist in Simbiosis by Adrián Santana, presented at the Festival de Jerez, where the production received critical acclaim. In 2021, she was awarded “Revelation Artist” for her role in Sí quiero, a production by Mercedes de Córdoba premiered at the same festival.
In 2022, she received the “Revelation Artist” award at the 26th edition of the Festival de Jerez, confirming her position as one of the most promising artists of her generation. That same year, she was also awarded the Venencia Flamenca prize in Los Palacios y Villafranca.
Earlier in her career, after winning the First Prize at Tablao Villarrosa in Madrid, she began performing in some of the most prestigious tablaos in the capital and across Spain.
She has worked with leading flamenco companies and choreographers, including Daniel Doña (Rew), Manuel Liñán (Nómada), and has performed in productions such as De Flamenca and Entrar al juego by Marcos Flores, Ímpetu’s by Jesús Carmona, and Duende, part of the Lorca cycle at the Generalife Gardens, directed by Manuel Liñán and Fuensanta La Moneta.
She has also performed as a soloist with the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía under the direction of Úrsula López, taking part in national and international productions and tours.
