Barcelona, April 17, 2023. Representatives of the specialized press of the flamenco world, flamenco associations such as ‘El Dorado’, dance academies, amateurs and personalities such as ‘La Chana’ gathered at number 35 of the Rambla de Barcelona to enjoy the inaugural event of the “Ciclo de Grandes Intérpretes” organized by Tablao Flamenco Cordobes, in the framework of a powerful performance by Antonio Molina “El Choro”, Mercedes de Córdoba, Juan Campallo and Gema Moneo, among other great artists.
The “Great Performers Cycle”, under the artistic direction of its founder, Luis Adame, kicked off this important day of performances that will last until October 31.
Artists such as Manuel Liñán, José Maya, María Moreno, Mercedes de Córdoba, Gema Moneo, Paula Comitre, Pol Vaquero, Antonio Molina “El Choro”, El Carpeta, Davinia Jaén, Alba Heredia, Águeda Saavedra, Yoel Vargas, Juan Tomás de la Molía, Raquel Heredia “La Repompilla”, Sara Barrero, María Carrasco, Cristina Soler, Carlos Velázquez, Rocío Reyes and Estefanía Narváez, accompanied on vocals and guitar by relevant musicians who will coincide in concentrated programs of artistic wisdom, in a combination of styles and hierarchical diversity, with Art and Inspiration as the only point of reference.
This is one of the esthetic, democratic strengths that are the heritage of the flamenco tablao, especially of this Tablao Flamenco Cordobes. To them it has tried to be faithful since 1970 when its doors opened and where you can enjoy flamenco today in one of its sources of origin, yes sir, El Tablao Flamenco.
