Pastora Galván & José Maya at Tablao Flamenco Cordobes, Flamenco Barcelona.

As we do every month, Tablao Flamenco Cordobes of Barcelona presents an exceptional cast for the flamenco fans, bringing to you the leading figures of the flamenco international scene in a tablao.

We welcome Pastora Galván back to Cordobes’ stage. With a surname that is synonymous with authentic flamenco, sister of the genius and unique Israel Galván and daughter of the “maestro” José Galván. With the skills to execute the most vanguardist flamenco dance and heir of the most venerable traditional dancers from Triana, she is able to combine both elengantly and with ease.

José Maya returns as well to Tablao Flamenco Cordobes, the frontlines of flamenco in Barcelona, on the 22nd of March. Prodigy child born in a family of artists, he started his professional career in the Albéniz Theatre stage at the age of 9, sharing the stage with legends such as Antonio Canales, Juan Ramírez or Enrique Morente. Considered one of the most important flamenco artists in the world, he has performed with some of the most important international artists in the world such as Marc Anthony, Björk or Beyoncé and has collaborated with most of the lead flamenco figures in the last years: Tomatito, Güito, Ketama, Estrella Morente, Belén Maya, the Farruco family or Israel Galván, among others.

Yiyo, one of the most promising young talents of flamenco in Barcelona, will be with us until the 22nd of March as well. He is already considered one of the most important artists of this art thanks to his performances at the La Suma Flamenca festival in Madrid, where he was acclaimed by the public and became one of the rising stars of the new generations at the age of 19.

After 5 years, the flamenco singer Sara Salado, from Jerez de la Frontera, is visiting again. With a long career behind her, she has worked in theatres all over the world (Canada, Japan, Greece, Mexico, US, …) with important projects, such as her recent collaborations with Navarra and Madrid’s Symphonic Orchestras to interpret “El Amor Brujo” composed by the master M. de Falla.

With them, a cast full of great professionals, lead artists on any stage. Great dancers such as Lucía Campillo or Sara Barrero, guitar players with a standing such as the “maestro” David Cerreduela, accompanied by Israel Cerreduela, his son, and Antonio Santiago “Ñoño”; and singers that will help us enjoy wonderful flamenco nights in Barcelona: Juan Manzano “Coco”, Antonio Campos “Bocaillo” and Jonathan Reyes.
