In December Tablao Flamenco Cordobes will have a cast of international stature headed by the dancers Adrián Santana, Karime Amaya and Águeda Saavedra. From the 1st to the 13th of December Tablao Flamenco Cordobes presents in Barcelona a cast loaded with artists of international stature. The flamenco dancers will be accompanied in the historic tablao de Las Ramblas by cantaora Loreto de Diego, cantaores Luis de La Fefa, Bocaíllo and Miguel Rosendo as well as guitarists Justo Fernández El Tuto and Eugenio Santiago.

Adrián Santana (except 13 December)

Karime Amaya, a member of the Amaya family, is the niece of Carmen Amaya, La Capitana, the most famous dancer of all time. The dancer debuted at the age of nine and since then, her artistic career has grown, performing in festivals and theatres all over the world such as the United States, Japan, Mexico, France or the most important flamenco festivals in Spain, among many other places. In addition, last November 2018 Karime Amaya premiered her own show at the SAT Teatre de Barcelona: La Fuente.

 

 

Karime Amaya

Karime Amaya, a member of the Amaya family, is the niece of Carmen Amaya, La Capitana, the most famous dancer of all time. The dancer debuted at the age of nine and since then, her artistic career has grown, performing in festivals and theatres all over the world such as the United States, Japan, Mexico, France or the most important flamenco festivals in Spain, among many other places. Águeda Saavedra

The bailaora Águeda Saavedra was born in Málaga and began her studies at the age of 7 in the conservatory of that city. At the age of 15 she entered the Conservatory of Dance in Madrid and grew up with masters such as "Betty", Cristina Visús, Currillo or Rocío Espada among others. Águeda Saavedra won first prize in the Dance Contest of the City of Ribarroja del Turio in 2009 and 2010 and gets a scholarship from the dance company of Antonio Najarro.  The bailaora has travelled with her flamenco dance to countries all over the world, such as the United States, England and Italy. She has also worked with great artists such as Jesús Carmona, with whom she has visited stages in China and Dubai, among others, with the show IMPETUS. The artist has also just participated in the series 'Arde Madrid', which covers the life of Ava Gardner.

Tuto

Young guitarist born in Barcelona in the bosom of a family of flamenco artists, he began his career at the age of 14. He has played for outstanding figures such as Montse Cortés or Farruquito and his career seems unstoppable. 

 

 

Eugenio Santiago

A versatile guitarist, he is one of the most promising young flamenco guitarists in Barcelona. Eugenio Santiago has already been recognized with several awards, among which we can highlight the first prize of the Certamen Internacional de Hospitalet and also the First Prize for the Best Accompaniment to the Vocals by Bulerías. Eugenio Santiago has shared the stage with great flamenco artists such as Farru, Juan de Juan, Belén López, Morenito de Illora, Joselillo Romero or Simón Roma among many others. 

 

 

Singers

 

Loreto de Diego

Loreto de Diego is a flamenco singer who started acting professionally at the age of 17. Loreto de Diego has worked in important companies with artists such as Antonio Reyes, Antonio Márquez, Marcos Flores, Rafael Aguilar or classical dance figures such as Aída Gómez. He has also toured all over the world. In 2013 he produced and premiered the show “Me sabe a cante” at the Suma Flamenca.

 

 

Miguel Rosendo

The flamenco singer Miguel Rosendo began his professional career in peñas such as La Peña La Perla, La Peña Juanito Villar, La Peña Enrique El Mellizo. The artist, cantaor in Tablao Flamenco Cordobes, moved to Japan for approximately 4 years, where he worked in the company of Yoko Komatsubara and other Japanese companies. When he returned to Spain, he worked with great flamenco artists such as Cristina Hoyos, Javier Barón, Antonio El Pipa, Israel Galván, Andrés Peña and Edu Guerrero, among others, with whom he toured numerous theatres and festivals in Spain and all over the world, such as Japan, Israel, France, Italy, the USA and Chile.

 

Luis de La Fefa

Luis Fernández is a flamenco singer born in Barcelona in 1990. From an early age he began to feel flamenco and at the age of 4 he began to sing tangos with his uncle Juaneke. At the age of 14 he began to sing professionally and from the age of 18 to work in flamenco tablaos.

 

 

Bocaíllo

This Catalan cantaor from the Bon Pastor neighbourhood has been surrounded by flamenco since his grandfather was Porrina’s cousin. He trained as a professional cantaor in Tablao Flamenco Cordobés working with great artists such as Karime Amay, la Susi, Pastora Galván, Manuel Tañé or Antonio Vilar.
